Surendra Nagar English Medium School is a large two storage building located at Hezamara, PO – Baikunthapur, PS – Sidhai Mohanpur, Dist. West Tripura under Mohanpur Sub-Division. History

Since its Inception, Surendra Nagar Higher Secondary School has been established in the year of 1961 under Surendra Nagar Gram Panchayet (Dasherghat) near Hezamara Bazar, Baikunthapur. In the year of 1981 upgraded to upper primary stage. In 1984 upgraded to Secondary stage and Again in 2003 to Higher Secondary stage. Later on, the School’s location was shifted from Hezamara Bazar area to Dongor Bari in the year of 2008 adjacent to Hezamara R.D Block office. This school has been recognized as a Surendra Nagar English Medium School in 2017. Stream offered Arts only till now. Beside these, N.S.S, Eco-Club activities, big play-ground with gallery, S.T Girls Hostel with 50 seated are also part and parcel of this Institution. Mid-day-Meal provided to students class I to VII regularly.
